If you are collaborating with students on making an Open Source textbook, here are some helpful resources for you.

 1. A sample agreement template can be used to clarify the rights of students when participating in a collaborative open textbook project, and the responsibilities of the faculty member to their students (See below). Its purpose is to make sure that students are informed about the requirements of the project and the implications of the license they choose.

2. Student Collaborators' Bill of Rights and other resources to help students keep informed (See below.)

There are a variety ways to find reliable, peer-reviewed Open Access Resources in the UMU Catalog..

1. Access the Open Access Resources via the catalog "Easy" tab option.

     a. Add the keyword in the "Easy" tab search box.

     b. Once you see the results, you can filter the results (see left hand column filtering options) by OA.

2. Additionally, there are some Open Access resources that cannot be loaded into the catalog. You can click on these directly.

3. You can also go to the A-Z Databases and limit your search by "database type" to Open Access. From these results, you can further limit your search by "subject".
